rangeelaraja Posted February 24, 2023 Author Posted February 24, 2023 (edited) Prayers to his mom for a speedy recovery. Lets hope he is back for the 4th test. Edited February 24, 2023 by rangeelaraja Vijy and Under_Score 1 1
vvvslaxman Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 Wish his Mom well. Australia would hope for Gabba miracle where India played a C string side.
Norman Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 Wish him well. So that pretty much confirms Lance Morris' debut in Indore along with Starc's comeback.
Lone Wolf Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 A lance Morris debut would be awesome. Anrich Nortje I guess also made his test debut in India back in 2019
maggot_brain Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 Cummin's mother is in palliative care. Doubt he'll return to India at all now. Very sad for him at this time. LordPrabhzy, rangeelaraja and nevada 3
BacktoCricaddict Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 Sad news. These are tough times for him.

This is not Aus C though. loss of warner is actually a positive. Green will be back, maybe Starc too. The Cummer is the only missing major negative
LordPrabhzy Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 If his Mom is in Palliative care then I dont think he will play for Australia in the foreseeable future- not in this test series. Wish her well and speedy recovery

Hazletrundler is also average in Asia and even in nz/SA believe it or not. It's on lance an starc I guess. Maybe greeeny. You could argue Cummins batting may be a miss but starcy can bat. tapandrun Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 Who will be the captain then-Smith. Will Starc be able to take the workload just after injury

Aus need a win-at-all-costs captain like him to raise their chances of winnings. tapandrun 1
Nidhibic Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 Smith will also lead Aus at 4Th ahmedabad test on march 9th, while Pat Cummins will stay in Australia For 3 ODI vs india, Aus left out Richardson ( bowler) Groin injury. Nathan Ellis will be replace him. Smith told indian media i am only Captain koz pat not here, i am not thinking of Aus captaincy job for long term.
