Chakdephatte
Umpiring errors are made every match. Stop pretending it had any impact on the match. And such calls are subjective. Umpiring had his reasons to make a call. Why are we even talking this non-issue? Frustrated, Kothili and zen 3 Link to comment
Chakdephatte
And why targeting Green? A fielder has to claim a catch. He just has split second to see the ball. Frustrated 1 Link to comment
zen
Yeah, unnecessary controversy … Many don’t even follow (or even understand) traffic laws in India and waste their time quoting cricket laws in a bookish fashion (as if rest of the world is on the same page) Link to comment
jalebi_bhai
It's just copium. Can't rationalize the fact that a marginal call went against us. Move on. Kothili 1 Link to comment
Aiden
Respect the umpire's decision and no point crying. Maybe now Indian fans will realize how Pak fans felt after the Ajmal/Sachin daylight WC robbery decision? Norman 1 Link to comment
maniac
I don’t think any Indian fan even the casual ones are blaming this loss on Gill’s dismissal. Not sure what’s bothering the OP. If some idiots think that’s the reason which I think will be a very micro minority better to ignore and move on. express bowling and nitinbwj 1 1 Link to comment
Frustrated
We are a **** team. Be it any format. Crying on about umpiring error endlessly only proves how **** our team really is. The loss margin is 209 runs. And not 29 runs. Gill would not hv made 209 runs or close to it. At best he would hv made 60-70. Link to comment

Everywhere on social media (especially twitter) there hv been plenty of posts taking a dig at the umpiring error since last night. Many hv stated that Gill's dismissal proved to be the turning point. The number of posts by indian fans on SM criticizing the umpire far exceeds the posts criticizing the Team Ind's abysmal performance over the last decade. maniac 1 Link to comment
