Are we underestimating how good England's bowling has been in this series or Aussie batting is just crap.Only our mighty bowlers made them look like champions in both innings.

This match proved with Wood  England bowling attack > Australia bowling attack. Australia has 3 batsmen in top 5 ICC rankings. They were blitzed.

Australia have played unbelievably poor in this match. Hard to compare with their wtc final performance. They might come back well next match.

No substitute for raw pace. They were bullied.  India could have gone with 3 spinners and 2 seamers rather.

That's what happens in long series. This is 5th game including WTC Final.

 

That's why I don't rate NZ only play 2 match series.

Archer bowled faster or at equal pace last Ashes with much more ferocity .Smith was just like Bradman that was the difference then and offcourse that Stokes Innings.

This is why I don't rate any test series with less than 3 tests at a bare minimum, it's *ing hard winning 5 test series! The last time we lost that one, at home, was back in 1983 against the best test team ever 

 

Also why the WTC is a farce at best & absolute BS money spinner for the babus at ICC

He knocked his head and got replaced by Labu. He did something. You need raw pace.

But he came back and scored all those runs again batting against Archer again. If Smith fails Aussies become very weak.

His mixed performance against was the reason why they lost home series in Australia against us in 2021. Scored 131 in one innings. In the other 7 innings managed only 182 runs.

It becomes so hard for one batsman to carry the weight of the team. He is finally proving he is human.
