Smith is better captain than Cummins. He showed in India also.Nothing against Cummins but it is hard for a bowler that too for fast bowler to captain. Lord and Nikola 2

I still recall bumrah's horrible captaincy well. I can only think of a handful of good bowler captains, and most were spinners

Kothili Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 Carey dropping Brook on 5 might have deep consequences in this match.

Vijy Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 2 minutes ago, Lord said: Â Then why do England lose there everytime? because their batting has been really poor since early 2010s. remember that cook, KP, trott feasted massively on those pitches. Brook = KP, and current root should be equal of trott at least. real issue is a replacement for cook, but I think one of duckett and crawley (both are inconsistent) can score in one of the 2 innings per test
AKane Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 As soon as a wicket falls "Jimmy" is back on. Â I think Stokes is more desperate for "Jimmy" to get a wicket than "Jimmy" himself.

Kothili Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 Eng have gone up to the Ump a second time for a ball change.
