sage Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Does Bazball mean they won't even try to stem run flow and hand over the win to the Aussies?

vvvslaxman Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Matter of time. Pathetic batting by Green. Getting stuck on the crease like a stone.

vvvslaxman Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Reward for attacking the stumps every single ball.
putrevus Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Robinson has terrific avg and he has won tests in Pakistan of all places.
vvvslaxman Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 I remember a similar ball Robinson bowled to Babar, he left it alone and got cleaned up.

He i another guy who has learnt how to set up batsman. He typically mixes incoming ball and straight ones in between he slips an yorker. Having ideas is one thing. But executing is another thing

Often times Robinson brings the ball from outside the off stump to stumps. So batsman can't be certain it is straight enough. Babar left alone and got bowled. Ishant is the only one who has that ability. Edited June 20, 2023 by vvvslaxman
rollingstoned Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 The guy who is stuck is Khawaja. Regularly hitting loose deliveries and long hops to the fielder.
putrevus Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Root is mini version of Sachin, he can bowl important overs with his team losing much. Such an asset to have batsmen who could bowl back then we had Sehwag, Ganguly also.

Kothili Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Negative batting. Enough with the blockathon already. Cummins needs to be canned from captaincy.

vvvslaxman Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Test match bowling is an art. You must learn how to set up batsmen. You have enough time in your hands to set up players. Thsi is where Bazball worked for England. They did not allow bowlers to set them up.
