This Chintan Gaja is bowling at 120 kph, on top of that he is bowling cutters as well ...that too with a loud grunt.

Manner is not important only wickets column and runs are important,the real purpose of domestic cricket and these selectors is lost in wilderness

They don't even pay heed what these cricketers do on fields,rinse and repeat selections

I do think selectors talk with TM. If Dravid and Rohit want only fast bowlers ,would selectors have nerve to select trundlers.

 

IMO these guys in domestic cricket are playing to best of their ability so cannot fault them. It is upto TM to dictate what they want in Indian team.

Tilak varma looked a little raw at this level. Long format requires precise shot selection and quick decision making. Tilak still some time to go before being considered for Tests. In T20 he has a clear role and he is able to execute with no issues. He has to produce those big runs like 100s, 150s.

May be occasional misbheavior of pitch or whatever that is bringing wickets to them. But none of the bowler looked international standard. Probably nagaswalla can try his hand in division 2 county cricket where all the mediocre cricketers are embraced.

Don't pace as In express per say

 135-145 is plenty enough

Selectors need to make sure they pick bowlers with good bowling action, who are able to generate bounce consistently and / or swing if applicable. Lot of them do bowl 135-145 but somehow selectors prefer trundlers cause the abrasive wickets in india suits trundlers.

Pace needs to be atleast 134-136 average wise. Below that is just not acceptable. 135-145. Bcci should set targets. 30 overs per test at those speeds or more. Plenty of our bowlers can do that but yea we don't pick wisely

One low paced delivery scooted off from good length and got the edge of a batsman. At the highest level batsmen won't get out to such deliveries. It makes these 125 kph trundlers good.

Problem is pitches. Accurate trundlers work in India. So selectors are deceived by these rubbish bowlers, when so many talented fast bowlers of india get left our. Yes batting quality can be questioned too.

These 125kph trundlers are shameless.

 

They are not bothered to improve their batting also and just stick to their Ranji teams for good 10 years blocking path of some promising youngster.

Zonal cricket used to be top quality. Nowadays it is poorer than State cricket due to quota.
