Jaydev Unadkat is a journey man trundler who had one good Ranji season and he gets into Indian team. Its a very quota selection from Gujarat. Mukesh Kumar is same as Vinay Kumar nothing else. Rahane as VC. Out of team for 16 months. He comes in because Iyer is injured. And after 1 test he is VC. His Ranji trophy performance was nothing exceptional, yet selected. Another team management favourite. This team management politics is killing the team. Unadkat averages 23 in FC cricket so not just one good ranji season but yeah he is far from being international class especially at 33. Link to comment

Vinay Kumar averaged 22 in FC...but that trundluddin was exposed in international Tests. No point playing the Trundlers in the purest form of cricket, if BCCI wants, they can play such gimmicki bowlers in T20. If India can't take chance against this side where will they take chance. I understand the point about "gelling" right before world cup.
