3) For BJP it gives real jolt, but no loss of position. They might even get two more states. Plus they can refocus on heartland which they can always get back. 

 

4) The cadre and BJP voters have also recived a jolt without losing power like in 2004. For 2029 and in between elections it augurs well. 

 

If it stays like this good result for the country and both parties.

Well politics is unpredictable sport. All you have to do is to not lose power when you can get battered, but somehow if you survive, you live to fight another day, you can turn the tables. Look at MP.  

 

After 10 year stint, the key is now to remain in power. There are also "Others", don't forget. They will also get consolidated into NDA. 

 

Key also is winning the state elections.

One complaint and initial assessment was that temperature was so high that it was almost impossible for middle class voter to go and Vote. 
 

Someone didn’t factor the weather when poll planning was done. Low voter turnout everywhere
