Pinki (& her Poko too) wanted to contest this election itself from Rae Bareli. Plan was for Pappu to contest from his original Amethi seat.

 

They even had all their Darbari media Ajit Anjum, Rajdeep & co camping and setting the field in Amethi since the last few days. But Pappu chickened out at the last moment.

There's a very good chance Rahul may lose even Rae Bareli now. 

 

In 2014 Sonia had won RB by a huge margin of 3.52 Lakh votes. Yogi comes to power in UP in 2017. BJP in 2019 fields local strongman and former Congressi Dinesh Pratap Singh. Sonia's victory margin drops to 1.67L votes in 2019.

 

Up untill now both big opposition parties in UP (SP & BSP) didn't field any candidate in Amethi & RB and gave outside support to the Gandhis. 

 

Cut to 2024. Mayawati has fielded a strong Yadav candidate in RB this time. Old matriarch Sonia isn't fighting. Pappu is highly unpopular in UP coz he ran away to Kerala and bad mouthed UP voters. BJP has poached Aditi Singh(former Cong MLA in RB) and 2 more sitting SP MLAs from RB (One of them being another local strongman Manoj Pandey).

 

Add to these the hold of Yogi in UP and Modi's Lok Sabha wave. The 1.67L votes deficit from last time can surely be breached.

That’s not across religions though. Muslims still have 4-5 kids recently a lady interviewed a Muslim lady in Bihar. Few woman mentioned they have 4 or 5 kids.

The other issue is the marriage and having kids at an earlier age (less than 20)... For the sake of muslim community, education levels need to go up

How do you convince them ? Most of the poor Muslims are educated in madrassas. They teach them to have multiple kids. The biggest issue is congress allowed all this nonsense in the name of secularism. After independence had they had no religious education it would have been fine.

its the role of women. They are seen as baby making machines. So its for the women to stand up, be independent, develop their own skills, careers.

How do you convince them ? They are not educated and are told by husband and mullahs they need to make multiple babies. 
 

Congress did irreparable damage by allowing these things like sharia courts, madrassas etc. they even paid mullahs in madrassas a monthly income.
