Relatively easier draw... No middle eastern team or Japan &,  Korea.

Should reach next round.

Will be interesting to Test our level against Chinese.  Put a more physical team against them I think...  And reverse for BD & Myanmar

yes, indeed

Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra needed just one big throw to qualify for the World Championships men's javelin throw final as well 2024 Paris Games by notching up his fourth career-best performance of 88.77m here on Friday.

Imagine- 2020 Tokyo Gold,  2022 CWG Silver, 2023 World Championship Gold, 2023 Asian Games Gold, 2024 Paris Gold.

If he achieves all this he will be the ATG athlete India has ever produced

Couldn't watch Neeraj's event today cos of work, final pakka dekhna hai. Athletes like him are born once in a generation, crime to miss his events.

Spear throw is such a viewer unfriendly event to watch.

One loo break and you miss the entire event. Its just not a spectator sport.

I want Neeraj to do well just as much as the next Indian.  :isalute:

But lets be honest if Neeraj were Japanese or from Ecuador, none of us would *ever* care about this sport.

Also, Most track and field events are like that 100m sprint (less than 10 seconds), hammer throw, discuss throw, shot put, pole vault , long jump, high jump, triple jump...
