Matches are not shown on the live TV.

Both Harshit Rana ans Mayank Yadav have picked 2 each...Yudhvir Singh is still warming the bench while Sandeep Sharma is picked for every goddamn game.

Sandeep sharma 10-0-89-1 wow. That is some thrashing. Parag Century and 4 wickets. But not sure whether to take this seriously as he is way too inconsistent.

Parag, most likely, is the #6 we need in white ball cricket.

Bhai not at all...I would bet likes of Venkatesh Iyer ahead of him. He is backed heavily by every selection committee and just now he has shown on glimpse of performance.

It would also be unfair for the likes of Rinku and Jitesh who have actually performed consistently across formats. This is the first decent knock Riyan has played in ages courtesy of batting against Sandeep Sharma.

Is there anyone else who can counter-attack in the lower order and bowl some decent spin? Neither Rinku nor Jitesh bowl AFAIK. I think Venky Iyer is more of a top order bat to be honest.

Venky has stopped batting in top order for MP.

Since his inclusion to the Indian team, he has started to bat at no 4/5.

Abdul Samad was one who can be a big hitter + some leg spin.

Raj Bawa is another one who can be a pace bowling allrounder at no 6, have to be groomed and backed though like Riyan Parag.

I know but I think he's better against the hard new ball than the old ball. Raj Bawa will be a back up for Hardik though. Abdul Samad has barely bowled and taken wickets in any domestic format. Abhishek Sharma has shown some consistency with the bat recently and does bowl a bit. But It will be tough for him to outperform the competition for top 3 spot - Ruturaj, Yashaswi, Sai Sudarshan all look like they could replace Rohit and join Shubman after the World Cup.

I know most people diss Parag, and for good reason too, in T20s and FCs. However, I think there is a possibility of considering him for ODIs. He can score at 95-100 SR in the middle order, and bowl 6-7 overs. most of our spin bowling ARs (barring Axar) cannot score quickly, such as jaddu and sundar. I think parag should be in the mix for A squad, albeit not for national team

Not trustworthy enough. We have to check the surfaces where he scores runs

most of the MO bats are not going to be very consistent. and parag is still 21-22, I think. has room to grow. like root, he bowls many diff styles of bowling, which can be helpful. but he needs to improve primary skill of batting

East zone today were 5/57 when he scored those runs.

Wow, how the heck did this guy Mavi play for India.

because he averages 23 in List A cricket with 60 wickets in just 39 games.

venky was always a 4-5 batsman, was never an opener.
