vvvslaxman Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 Root will disagree with that spiritb2, raki05 and Lord 3
bowl_out Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 Brook was part of a team that consistently gets the wooden spoon. It is definitely mentally exhausting for the bottom 4 teams.
Kothili Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 (edited) Harry Brook is not the sharpest tool in the box. Edited August 1, 2023 by Kothili
tapandrun Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 Yes for young overseas player IPL would be lot tougher first to find a spot in playing 11. As you are young you will not get your favoured spot and you are responsible to do all the big hitting as Ind super stars will try to play for their personal milestones first then for the team. And to add to this travel ,media engagements, advertisements, not sure what to say and what not (like :Jemieson interview regarding kolhi asking to practice with red ball ). and then pressure of the money. Then you see treatment Warner got, as an overseas player you are always under pressure to perform with a v.good strike rate and retain spot in the 11.
Nikhil_cric Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 Umpires don't give the home team a better ball to bowl with. Maybe that's why?
Bigg Brother Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 He played under the pressure of massive price tag and expectations. It might be the reason.
Vijy Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 in tests, he can take his time and smash the attacks without pressure

Guarantee that. To ensure only their bowlers will know what exact lengths to bowl on those seaming tracks. When poms go to SA, they will grovel at the feet of their sovereign masters and dish out pattas. Our batsmen suck no doubt but even they aren't that bad on flat tracks. Plus to make matters worse we will pick 2 short bowlers as well And offer no variation given dravida"s inclination to choose trundlers Yet a lady that supports harpic here will say only india doctors pitches.

There us so much talent. 100% corruption in terms of selections. I have some friends from UK and even they don't agree with some of the selections we have made as they do watch ipl at times. It's a joke. Even a foreigner knows we have more talent in reserves yet the spots are blocked by these overpaid millionaires.

So there ya go. Some even insist other teams are doing it with Warner and Andy so why shouldn't we. Except Warner is the best opener aus have and he scored runs again in the final test in England despite being poor vs swing. Our bozos average 27 over the last 3 4 years. Anderson averaged like 19 something for the last 2 years until the current series which was his only bad performance after a long time. Besides he has historically been poor vs aus in aus and England. Look at his record. Shameless fools here that justify the positions of these non performers.

Aus need to do several changes: bancroft/renshaw khawaja labu smith travball hardik (aaron "hardik" hardie) josh inglis jha (jhye "jha" richardson) cummer starc/hazel (don't play both) lyon wazza 1
