Don't try to assume stuff when you have just your own perspective.

What am i assuming ? I am stating facts- most families, overwhelmingly prefer the scenario of a single income amongst parents. This is patently easy to prove.

The fact that -  every other post you chose to use short-hand pejoratives to address a country  shows a personal grudge and that you have lost the ability to reason rationally.

Thats typical yankeestani BS speaking- that to be anti yankee means to have a personal problem with this great desh.

Err no.

It should occur to you that yankeestan is hated worldwide for a set of very good reasons, as well as amongst people who've come into it like myself. Yankee hatred has convergent threats worldwide for how **** the country is and that too, should be bleedingly obvious to anyone with any experience of the world outside yankeestan+desh.

As someone else said, you are the only one here that seems to agree with your anecdotal experiences - nobody else buys your middle east story.  Other people have seen and lived around the world too.

You don't buy ME better than yankeestan to live in, is because you have a much bigger reason to be biassed in favour of yankeestan, given that you are a wannabe/is yankee and drinks their desh koolaid crap.

Thats the honest truth of it, which is why you are trying to play off the 'nobody' bold claims, when you know JACK **** of the ME or the world of engineering.

Nobody is trying to change your opinion and your irrational perspective  is not  going to change anybody's opinion either.

My position isnt irrational at all. Stop projecting your yankeegiri under a package of rationality- it is irrational TO call 'muh freedumb' reason than the bleedingly obvious reason: You live a more comfy life in the gelf. Its way richer lifestyle. You are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay close to desh. Thats a huge bonus for people who actually want to KEEP in direct touch with desh. You have higher income in the gelf for STEM fields that thrive in the gelf.  Its safer in the gelf. these are all objective facts. You are too invested in your 'muh amrikka jungle' to think rationally.

And you are too arrogant in your yankeegiri to consider that you are trying to peddle YOUR anecdotal bullshit, to a man who has direct professional experience of living in those lands.

Up to you if you wanna drink that yankee koolaid, its not for us non-yankees, remember that.

People speak only about low/ no taxes but, how easy is it for a well qualified woman to get a high paying  job in the the Emirates ?

In the US mostly if both the spouses are in well paying professions - the savings can be pretty high.

I don't think the " double income " phenomenon is common in the Emirates or not ?

I'm out of my depth here. No clue how difficult it is for a well qualified woman to get a high paying job in the UAE. Perhaps, not so difficult for a married woman.

My sis landed a job in a month of moving there. But then again she is a specialist doctor.

Most of their circle is Indian families. Most have double income families. But this may not be representative of the larger white collared workforce.

I do know that in most major Indian metros - Mumbai, Gurgaon/NCR, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore...etc....2 working spouses  in decent well paying jobs for a better lifestyle and faster financial security is becoming extremely common - just like the US.

Am not sure if the Middle East as a whole is that sort of society - especially in the corporate world.  Being a specialized doctor is just something else.

Guys I know a some of you are consuming people like Ankit Shah or russian media on dedollarization but USD is very strong today, charts show USD going to go stronger, to be the strongest in 2030 (this I am basing on long term, over 100 years logarithmic charts,  including precious metals, the scope of that discussion would be beyond this thread).

'DXY' on tradingview.com is the strength of the dollar relative to other major currencies. One can check that to see current strength of usd relative to history.

Spot on.

I don't think I can articulate this very well, but I am going to try.

The far-right of religious society A will be sworn enemies of the far-right of religious societies B, C and D. For obvious reasons, of course. Far-right religious people of any religion believe that their religion is the ONLY way to salvation and see every other religion as a threat to their way of life.

The far-left that emerges in religious society A sees their own far-righters spewing vitriol on religions B, C and D, and perhaps discriminating against people of those religions who live where Religion A is the majority.  Let's call that Society A. In their quest to find equality among all religions in Society A, the far-left reflexively supports B, C and D.

Same thing happens in the opposite direction in societies B, C and D.

Problem  for far-left in Society A exacerbates when people of religion B commit atrocities elsewhere in the name of religion. They are now confused - "I see B as a victim where I live, and now I must condemn them?"

And on and on we go ...

PS: Of course, the pacifist atheist (I am guilty as charged), who doesn't believe in any "way of life" leading to any type of "salvation" and thinks everyone must be friends, is everyone's enemy :-)!!

Bewakoof, chemical engineers do not work for half those companies, nice yankee copium giri in trying to shoe-horn biochemical/pharma into 'muh chemical engineering' argument.

Your nation is a small player in the overall field of chemical engineering. It does not produce nearly as much chemical goods, precursors and such like in the world, here China is your big daddy and will remain so for the rest of this century at least.

You simply cannot accept the fact that your country is hated for good reason by many and its a shithole. But thats called self-serving bias, nothing more.

No it is not. Middle east comes in two varieties : oil rich and mullah rich. Mullah rich ones have no jobs, man or woman, the oil rich is still the paradise of 'single income runs the whole house comfortably and you get to live the dream family life'.

Thats why Indian medical grads prefer it as #1 destination for work, as well as the STEM fields that have big scope there.

Thats why i am also considering moving to Dubai long term - my wife doesn't have to work if she doesn't want to and can raise the kids.

We don't want India to become like the double income trash culture disaster that your western society is, either, though it is trending that way unfortunately.

What facts and figures have you provided ? Can you point a single post  of yours with a verifiable source for any of your claims ?

Whatever you claim  doesn't become a fact.

Heard of citations and sources ?  I asked you simply fora few job postings for the ME salary numbers you claim , and you got exposed naked.

You have no evidence,  no citations " . Oh everything is "negotiated", nothing is every out digitally. Just believe me because I saying it, it is true "

You lack the maturity and intelligence to debate factually with verifiable datapoints  for any of your claims-  as is obvious to anyone going over this thread.

And when you call a 25-26 trillion dollar economy  like the US with a massive energy and manufacturing industry as a  "small player"  in chemical engineering - one is really arguing with sheer ignorance. Any verifiable datapoint to prove your claim ?

Yankee retards should know by now, thanks to their nazi minion getting their ass kicked by the Rooskies, that ' GDP' does not translate to industrial capacity or vice versa.

Yankeestan has been de-industrialising for many decades now, to the point that in many critical manufacturing industries- including chemical industry- it is someone who punches below its weight.

Volume of chemical production and new patent filings in chemical industries is a good benchmark. You should know by now that China is ahead of USA in innovations, especially in the chemical field, where it absolutely dominates murrica in patent filings.

Chemical engineers are small players in biomedical industry, where BIOCHEMISTS have the main input. As i said, you including pharmaceuticals, in a discussion about chemical industry- which every actual engineer/STEM person knows, is not 'phamaceuticals' when we talk about it, shows how far your **** nation has fallen in its voluntary relinquishment of being an industrial power.

Yankee oil and gas companies, fyi, are unskilled losers, regularly requiring consultancy from QP, AARAMCO, ONGC, EIL etc. to make their **** work. The yankee companies that are ACTUALLY any good in the oil and gas field, are the drilling corps, such as Halliburton.

Rest, is losers relying on foreigners like us to make their **** work.

USA is a small player in CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES, because its industrial output is well below par for a nation that is 20% of the globe's GDP and top consumer of said chemical products.

If i ran around to Canada/ME to find my footing, then you ran around murrica to find your footing.

Atleast i chose to live and raise my kids in a country that isnt the rape & murder capital of the world and a place that has healthcare.

I am a CM graduate with my first job being with Texas Instruments. If you think i ran away, you are a retard who simply cant comprehend the fact, that many people don't like to live in the basti that is murrica.

Pity though, that you drank the yankee koolaid and lost your critical thinking abilities and acting like a typical ignorant arrogant yankee that the world loves to hate. Typical seppo.
