Middle east comes in two varieties : oil rich and mullah rich. Mullah rich ones have no jobs, man or woman, the oil rich is still the paradise of 'single income runs the whole house comfortably and you get to live the dream family life'. Thats why Indian medical grads prefer it as #1 destination for work, as well as the STEM fields that have big scope there. Thats why i am also considering moving to Dubai long term - my wife doesn't have to work if she doesn't want to and can raise the kids. We don't want India to become like the double income trash culture disaster that your western society is, either, though it is trending that way unfortunately. Chemical engineers are small players in biomedical industry, where BIOCHEMISTS have the main input.
