One of the reasons Kiwis always make it to the Semis is because they rarely ever drop matches against the Minnows and accumulate another 2-3 wins against the stronger sides to qualify for the knock outs.

You have to look at the conditions lol Ball was not seaming around. Moment there was some movement he was exposed even against Arshdeep singh. This is Chennai under lights. Very hard to line up and bat against.

Jonathan Trott probably told him see off overs from these guys and target others.  Only one pitched up ball went for 6. One short ball 4. Everything else is good length.

Lol who cares you still dint qualify for sf also thats the only inning he played so far against a full strength team  chasing meagre total of 237 some 4 years back and in his 7-8 years of career. Its a shame that all you have to show is single inning in 8 year long career for someone whomis equivalent to Bradman and Lara, that too in a league match of wc where your team couldn’t even proceed to next round. Chulli bhar pani me doob maro aur pani na ho to nali me doob maro.
