Sorry how is Arvinda in hall of fame.No offense to him, along with David Gower, Graham Gooch. These players should not have been in hall of fame.

Another Joke is Zaheer Abbas. How is Zaheer Abbas in Hall of fame and Vishy not in hall of fame.

I can understand Sehwag and De Silva. But how the hell is Edulji in HOF. What did she do apart from doing politics with the Indian team. Is she in because of that. I'm sure ICC rewards anyone who goes against India

Aravinda was their best bat in 1996. Single handedly responsible for their rise in world cricket

Definitely deserved.

You shouldn't get inducted into HOF through one off matches or tournaments.

Gambhir won India two trophies , he does not belong in hall of fame.

Hall of fame is not about winning ICC tournament.

Mohinder Amarnath won 1983 world cup, he was MOM in both semifinal and finals why is he not in Hall of fame then.

Hall of fame should be about a career not in one off tournament or one good year.

if they did not bat in dew in 1996, they were not winning that match either. Aussies were literally bowling with wet ball.

He averaged 43 in 93 Tests too. When he started SL was still not a top side. He was one of the big reasons they moved up a level.

Gambhir failed in semis of both the cups. Also was poor in league phase in 2011 IIRC.

He did well but career was just not long enough.

Yes,He was very good player but I would not put him a great player.

Vishwanth,Chandra were equally responsible for making India into a force..Chandra was responsible for India winning in England and WI. Why are they not in hall fame.

How the hell is Qadir in Hall of fame and not Chandra.

It is hall of fame not hall of good.

I am not saying Gambhir should be in hall of fame. I disagree that one or two matches should dictate a player for being in hall of fame.

Jayasurya had more impact than Arvinda. He was the one who started their batting revolution .

Chandra deserves it too. Maybe will get it later. Vishy while a great was not even best batsman of his team. That was SMG.

Agree Qadir didnt deserve it.

Vishy was like Dravid to Sachin.

Dravid was never the best batsman on Indian team in any format.

IMO ICC hall fame  should be reserved for ATG players or it becomes worthless.

Will they add Yousuf Youhana also in future as he holds record for most runs scored in one calendar year.

Their stats look decent? Aravinda averages about the same as Sehwag in ODIs and is wc winning player with century in final? What is the issue here

And zaheer and viswanath has same average and centuries almost

You high mate or too young to not watch De Silva

I'm still surprised that Pollock and Graeme Smith still didn't get inducted in hall of fame.

Edit: only Greame Smith.

I don’t believe in the idiotic explanation that he won a world cup and hence he should be in hall of fame but still Aravinda belongs there.

The reason for that is he was a quality test and odi cricketer and at that time he was leagues ahead of any other Srilankan batsman and carried them singlehandedly for quute some time, I agree he is not an ATG but his impact on SRI LANKAN cricket makes him a legendary cricketer

Hall of fame is not about stats

I am quite sure that Chandra and Vishy will also make it in one day.

AFAIK even contemporaries rated Chandra higher than Bedi and if bedi is up there Than chandra will also get in someday.

Test class leggies are so rare in history of test cricket
