Need the wrist spin of Kuldeep if conditions flatten out. 100% agree with you here, specialist keeper is needed in subcontinent test matches, however my XI was based on what Dravid and Hitman will come up with, rather than what I would want. Personally if I had the complete choice, I would even in fact have Iyer over Kohli, as the only change to your XI but we both know that will never happen. I dont necessarily disagree about Kuldeep over Axar as ideally you want to pick your best bowlers for the conditions, but because of the unpredictable nature of Indian batsmen, Axar is probably ahead of Kuldeep. express bowling 1 Link to comment

I think because it was Covid times and life seemed so bleak for a moment, so having the cricket played albeit in empty stadiums was a blessing. Axar was like taking wickets almost every spell. I need to warn you though axars bowling in tests has regressed a bit. He took a hit vs Aussies. Batting has improved alot for tests in Asian conditions and West indies.
