As expected, Lyon picks up 6 wickets in the 4th inning....LOL.  Pitch changed its colour (and nature) from being green(Day1) to brown during the course of the match.

I think NZ pulled an India here like they did with Final. It backfired massively.

Then NZ should hv gone with atleast 1 specialist spinner.  (Like Santner or sodhi). But they had none.  They had just phillips (who is a part timer).  Misread the pitch I think.

Greens innings made all the difference. Future atg in the making for sure.

I still can't believe they couldn't get rid of Hazlewood lol Pitch was turning. ALl they had to do was bowling Philips to him. THey did not give him any overs.

Nzl attack at home in those doctored conditions is not some meme attack. Plus you have to see the situation where he made the runs too which is what makes it clutch.

True and Australia turn even the so so batsman into beasts

Eg. Head,Maxwell,Labu,Katich etc

No boult

No jamieson

No wagner at his best

Forget boult. As you could say jamieson replaced boult. But they dint play anyway.

He seems ok when pitch gets flattish and ball is a bit older etc. I still have doubts about ATG. I dont think he will ever be close to fab 4 modern greats.

His bowling is ok at best. Serviceable.

Batting maybe around 35 to 40 would be his ceiling. Good player.

Even toygers drew there with jammu and wags playing.  Its a nothing team. Just our useless batsmen cant play swing if it moves away an inch. Every other team copes just fine except pakistan and india.

Every sena team that went there gave them a hard time

Dont even think they have beaten SA in their home in a series

O'Rourke did a bit of what what grandpa Wagner/Jamieson would do. Boult of late is not much of a test bowler, I rate Henry higher than him.

Australia are pretty lucky in that front too

Their opponents tend to become even more dumber on big occasions
