Report from the nets:

Mayank is bowling 145-150ks in nets..occassionally may be going above 150..per Ravish from naked eye test..

Abhishek Sharma was in belligerent mood and six hitting spree..

Thanks for posting. Guy talks about including Mayank Yadav as 'out of the box' thinking and there's a slight chance of playing him.
LOL on the contrary, not including him in this series and in the playing 11 would be an obvious blunder.

if we lead series 2-0..then after the 3rd match..Harshit and Mayank would have played 2 matches each..and Arshdeep may be rested for 3rd match..

Yes, I think the same too.

I would have started with Mayank and Harshit both in the first 2 games. And then may be included Arshdeep in the third if we lost the first two games. :cantstop:

Mayank picks up where he left off. Basically if he is in the team, he sucks all the oxygen/attention out of the air.

Nobody cares about the rest of the team or the result or whatever.....

If Mayank plays, how fast is he bowling? Is he bowling faster than 150 kmph? Does he stay fit?

That is all that matters......

So Arshdeep sits out for entire series :D

1. Abhishek

2. Samson

3. SKY

4. Parag

5. Rinku

6. Hardik

7. Washington

8. Harshit .. big hitter ideal for 8

9. Arshdeep

10. Bishnoi

11. Mayank

This team is possible unless sluggish track. Bowling options in bold.

Right. I never put in the thought. But yes exactly, we don't need 2 full-time spinners in the playing 11 unless the pitch is drastic.

I wish they had included Jaiswal in the squad as well. Would've loved to see Jaiswal & Abhishek open with Rinku in the middle order, and Mayank to bowl.

Yup. Harshit deserves the same amount of chances Avesh got. I would even bring in Venky Iyer in place of Dube, and probably give Varun C an extended run.

Some local organizations are threatning for Gwalior Bandh, security is tightened all over Gwalior.

Section 163 is placed at many places.

Jaisawal will be playing lot of test matches..probably dont want to mess his test batting for sometime..Thinking about us..he let us enjoy his T20 batting in 2nd Test against Bangladesh :D

Dube ji fans will not like this.

After all, he is the T20 Champion :cantstop:

I would also like to see Nithish getting a game, Hardik or Washington may sit for a game in favour of Nithish.

Gill has disappointed so far. Couldn't do  much in WC 2023 and so far is going the KL way instead of stepping up. Shouldn't be in T20s as Abhishek and Jaiswal are way better than him.

There are 2 specialist spinners in that team and 4 pace + 4 spin options overall.

I'd go

Abhishek

Samson

SKY

Parag

Nitish

Hardik

Rinku

Washington

Harshit

Bishnoi

Arshdeep

Mayank should not be rushed in so quickly imo. Will gain a lot just by being around the squad.

How is Mayank being rushed back ?

He has had a 5 month gap for an abdomen strain.

And the main learning comes from playing actual matches.

I don't think his action has been remodeled yet. Or at least not "bedded" in.

He has been bowling in NCA 18-20 overs per day from last 1-1.5 months.
I know match fitness is different, but 4 overs per day can be expected atleast.
Also, considering Shami's BGT inclusion is still in the hand, we don't have our 4th and 5th pacer locked in yet.
