Going all the way. Couple of wins won came miraculously thanks to slow dipping yorker from Malinga, then fielding of Rayudu against Rising super giants.

Won't say MI dodged a bullet. 20 runs win is a good win imo in T20 format. During no part of the chase were GT scoring above the required run rate. Not even when Sundar and Sai Sudarshan were batting. GT scored 13 runs less than MI during powerplay. Then easy overs followed and still GT never crossed the Mi worm and stayed above it. They were always playing the catching game in chase. And in such scenarios once wicket falls then it becomes more tough. Mariyam 1

MI too were not at their peak but GT were so bad in so many situations yesterday that MI still managed to win by 20 runs which is a good win margin in this format. MI were easily the better fielding team, the better batting team in powerplay and most of the middle overs and death overs batting and bowling. Edited May 31, 2025 by crictime

Boult is not a t20 bowler and santner is pretty useless.
