This is the quote in the article about his brother's opinion Quote Raja Vemula, Rohith’s brother, said the family had been shocked by the closure report. “The responsibility of the Telangana Police was to investigate if my brother was harassed to the point that he took his life. Instead, they again went for his caste. We are not going to take this, we are going to fight,” he said. I don't know about this person or telengana but this appears to be a normal reaction. The college found out they were fake and banned him from college and hostel. His scholarship was stopped. Him committing suicide over news of him kicked out of the hostel and the report damning him is not convincing IMO. They have motivation to nail it on BJP even if they found an ounce of evidence. If his Dalit status is removed he will loose his seat in college, scholarship and hostel as well. He used fake papers to get admission and created ruckus in Uni only later to realize that he has dug a hole for himself. PS: Fake papers are a regular thing among people seeking school/college admission. A class 1 SC Government Officer I know used wife name on his three Kids certificate as she was unemployed SC.
