gambhir will have limited autonomy if chosen. he will be made to serve as a bootlicker. he will either quit or succumb

He will have to work around them. Sort of the rest. We are like SA basically. Just not openly fixated on quota but we have our own quota oicks that can't be removed. We have superstar quota.

That leaves 8 to 9 players for gambo to sort out. That's the best we can do.

nope, ro & ko will control the remaining 8-9 too.

If Kohli actually had a big say in BCCI then there was no way they could have removed him as captain.

Secondly if someone like Gambhir becomes the coach then it will be even more apparent that Kohli has no say in BCCI matters.

GG won't take such drastic steps at one go.

Though I believe he will open the doors for Harshit Rana & possibly Mayank Yadav.

Only problem with analysis is that there's basis for your belief.

Like why would he play Harshit and others won't? Rana obviously played for KKR because he was impressive in last season. Any coach was going to do same (and he wasn't the coach).

Adding to that Harshit & Mayank both play for Delhi...and GG played a key role alongside Dahiya to get Mayank selected in LSG.

GG backed and fought for Saini as well in selection for Delhi domestic team.

Ofcourse, no one knows what's going in his mind. But based on his past actions we can deduce that he "may" favour certain players.

Yuvraj Singh should be considered.

He's the type that needs to be approached. He's not going to beg/ask for it (kind of how Ganguly was asked to apply). Yuvi is just a different breed... unique

BCCI won't approach any one either. if he wants it, he will have to apply as with anyone else

I don't want Gautam Gambhir to coach Team India because if he will coach team India then India will definitely win WTC 2025 under the presence of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

But other team batting especially Australian Cricket team Batting has became very weak due to which they will be unable to win WTC.

He doesn't have leadership qualities. That's why was never even considered captain. He's  similar to Sehwag - good for making comments but not a good captain or coach. Gambhir has the pedigree, and record - both as a captain and as coach.

Its hard for me to believe what you're saying. Its cut throat to get into the Indian side and even more difficult to get to be the captain. I'm sure may with great leadership skills never got a chance for one reason or another. Just my thought

I remember rumblings around Sehwag or Yuvraj as the successor to Ganguly in mid 2000s, and somehow both were deemed not good enough. That's why they decided to go with Dhoni as the captain, despite Dhoni being junior to them. This was unheard in Indian cricket and sub-continent in general where seniority trumps everything.
