If they really want to think out of the box they should try Rohit as finisher. He is useless in the first 6 anyway.  Otherwise this line up has zero finisher. Neither SKY nor Dube are finishers. Dube is good when the team is relaxing in the middle overs. Pandya gone case.

Rohit is useless everywhere. Do you recall even in his younger days he couldn't do anything in the middle order and Dhoni had to move him up the order to get something out of him. Down the order, with his poor fitness and slow reflexes, he's not gonna even average 20.

use him as a specialist no. 11. won't bat, won't bowl, won't field (will stand immobile), and won't captain (much)

One lower order hitter isn't gonna make that much of a difference when you're surrounded by likes of Jadeja, out of touch Dube, and 4 bowlers who're fairly useless. Need at least 2-3 decent hitters so that even 1-2 have off days at least 1 hitter will show up.  That's how all the other teams top teams are with hitters down to the tail. Here we've Pandya coming in at 5 and after that there're no hitters left - no, Jadeja isn't a hitter.

Jadeja is a very good hitter. he can smash our chances out of the park, and reduce it to zero

Based on what we've seen so far, Rinku's finishing skills would've been great to have. He knows how to get his team over the line. Pandya & Rinku is a much more solid lineup than Pandya & Jadeja, or Pandya & Axar. Wish we can still niggle out a spinner and get Rinku in
