Can India produce more forward release pacers like bumrah

Currently Naveen ul haq of Afghanistan has a similar forward release action like bumrah and can be deceptive.

 

Bumrah has hyperextension as well which aids his pace.

Bhai Mayank fit ho jaye wohi kaafi hai. Anderson played till he was 41. Bumrah at least will play till 37 maybe only tests and the tournaments.  So we have 7 years to find and groom. Arshdeep should get better. He was clutch this wcup in crucial stages.

Mayank is a conventional pacer,not like Bumrah.

 

I saw a stat in this wt20,that batsmen's reaction time for Bumrah's deliveries were slightly quicker than Nortje.And that's due to his forward release. Which means conventional pacers need to be a touch quicker than Nortje to match Bumrah.Goodluck doing that specially accurately.

Even Afghanistan has produced a gentler version of Bumrah in Naveen.  Same action.  Good thinking bowler too. Just that he operates at 132 kph.  His action is not easily repeatable. Outswing at pace.. damn.

I think they should show reaction time for batsmen beside speed,then we will know who is rushing batsmen the most.

When Australia was looking for someone like Mcgrath they found Stuart Clark who had similar action. But over the course they produced a lot of tall fast bowlers  (except siddle). Hifenhaus, Ryan Harris then the modern day Giants. We have to find skilled bowlers. We need Shami replacement as well.

Such action bowlers are rare...though I am sure there must be a 12-14 year old bowlers somewhere in the Indian cities who must have copied Bumrah's bowling action.

By the time Bumrah will be around 34-35...one of those will appear in the IPL.

It’s not just about release. Bumrah knows what ball to bowl in a particular situation. He is constantly outfoxing the batsman.

This. The control and thinking that Bumrah has is IMO more critical that his release. We can find someone with similar action, but having a brain and control like him will be very difficult.

 

Like how Srilanka has been trying to find Malinga's replica replacement in likes of Nuwan Thushara and Pathirana, but it is not easy....

whatever I have noticed and heard from Mayank Yadav..he looks a thinking cricketer to me..

If he stays fit and aroudn 150..he is going to serve as very well..

Then why is SL looking for Malinga type bowlers.

 

And every team now has a left arm swing bowler with the new ball,should they not because none of them are of boult's caliber or use left arm spin match ups against likes of kohli unless then are of the highest quality ?

 

Even someone like Naveen is good bowler and can surprise batsmen due to this technique.

Slingy action require around 140kph minimum. Below 132 you will be hammered.
