This is an example for the IQ thing which I mentioned. The alpha beta theory was disapproved even for wolves, the species for which the term was coinrf and it was found that members have far complex relationship dynamics where there is no single alpha

Yet we always have right wing bigots use terms like alpha beta for a species as complex as human beings with multiple layers of social interactions and norms

Talking about alpha beta in human beings is like talking about the 5 humors of man (a 17th century theory) or claiming that 5 elements make up everything

Yet I see right wingers constantly talk about alpha beta in human beings.

Gambhir is literally a BJP politician but he's a beta male liberal to these guys. Their obsession with hierarchies leads them in this narrow path where they must eat their own, constantly

When did I say that a right winger cannot be a beta?

I an talking about mentality not wolves, I don’t entertain intellectual dishonesty .

So don’t want to argue with you.

Depends on your definition of suffering I guess. His form has gone to **** but that's just his waning reflexes with age. His branding and wealth has multipled 5 times since that video so he's probably enjoying life with his wife, outside of cricket

His brand would have increased with or without that lol.

Reflexes don’t start waning when you are 31-32, his aggression and passion has gone down because his mind has been painted by liberal agenda.

The guy even converted to veganism, lol.

so is he going to try playing the 2027 WC??

It shouldn't be up to him ..like is the case with any player the selectors have to do their jobs. ODI is the format where he is likely to make a contribution the longest though.

Lakhs of Indians every year given up Indian citizenship. don't know what the big deal

That is because the Indian constitution does not allow dual citizenship unlike most other countries including Pakistan. Once you accept citizenship of another country you are forced to relinquish your Indian passport.

There is no such thing as alpha or beta mentality. And someone dumb enough to believe veganism or liberal mentality has anything to do with sporting decline shouldn't be talking about  intellectual dishonesty.

You literally ranting and crying about liberalism to blame a sporting persons decline can be the dictionary example of intelctual dishonesty

Kohli changed to a vegan diet because of a medical issue..nothing todo with liberalism etc. He was having problems with neck and back pain around the 2014-2015 period because of inflammation and changing his diet allowed him to move past that. There are lots of top athletes who are vegetarian. Djokovic is vegan as was Carl Lewis the 100m sprinter who switched to a plant based diet and then had his best year ever in 1991

Kohli is a GOAT 50 over batter. Don't see his test form affecting his game there. Not to forget he was the Man of the tournament in WC last year.

Also his record in SA is pretty good so should aim for 2027 WC if his fitness and form remain.

Example of his liberal thoughts?

He was also criticized by far right Aussies for encouraging the cricket team on promoting BLM activism.

Why are people making a big fus about this? He can choose to raise his kid where ever he pleases. India is a 3rd world country, just like many of the neighbouring Asian countries, hence the reason you find millions of Indians around the globe who chose a foreign land to settle on and prosper in life rather than staying at motherland. Many on social media who lives in a foreign land chest pumps showing their patriotic ties to India. Why? If you were patriotic, would have stayed in India, not abandon it. Let the men do what he pleases.

I think the criticism is coming from the perceived  contradiction between wanting to represent India in sport while preparing to give up Indian citizenship. I'm not even sure these reports are true as, like I explained before, getting UK citizenship is not that quick or straightforward especially for a 12th pass close to retirement cricketer

Rules vary for individual, Kohli is a brand with huge amount of wealth, from which UK govt can earn taxes.

Cities like Birmingham are already bankrupt...they need wealth to tax and feed their dependent population who don't want to work but live a resourceful life.

Never understood why alot chooses UK vs Australia if you want to be around cricket. I personally would have gone to Aus. Better weather and pretty similar culture. If you are done with cricket than USA is probably the place you want to continue to expand your wealth

No. That's the whole point..rules in the uk apply to all and everyone regardless of "brand" has to comply. After Brexit and to dissuade russian black money and becoming a money laundering epicenter, the UK government policy has made it harder to get retirement visas and it has the highest investment requirement compared to most other comparable countries if you want to remain as an investor. It's not easy for a rich person to just settle in the UK. There are many much easier options with similar benefits and a faster path to citizenship like Portugal, Spain, Malta etc. Kohli can get an international sportsperson visa but it would require him to play for a county in England and will be many years before he is eligible for residence or citizenship

He won't be able to just settle in the UK unless he invests a significant amount ( at  least £2m) in the local economy or takes up a job.

2m Euros is 17 CR INR. He is earning close to 100 CR per year for more than 10 years now. Should be doable for him.
