Kanwar Yatra 2024: Muzaffarnagar Police issues fresh advisory on displaying eatery owners' names

Latest RR from Mandbuddhijeevis (aka libtards). After many viral videos of Muslim vendors spitting/licking/pissing on fruits, this order to display name of the owner is a bit harsh, but is done to maintain law and order.

Taking to social media platform X, the Muzaffarnagar Police wrote, "During the Shravan month Kanwar Yatra, a large number of Kanwariyas from neighbouring states, via Western Uttar Pradesh, collect water from Haridwar and pass through Muzaffarnagar district. During the holy month of Shravan, many people, especially Kanwariyas, abstain from certain food items in their diet."

"In the past, such instances have come to light where some shopkeepers selling all types of food items on Kanwar Marg named their shops in such a way that it created confusion among the Kanwariyas and created a law and order situation. To prevent such a recurrence and in view of the faith of the devotees, hotels, dhabas and shopkeepers selling food items on Kanwar Marg have been requested to voluntarily display the names of their owners and employees. The intention of this order is not to create any kind of religious discrimination but only to facilitate the devotees passing through Muzaffarnagar district, counter allegations and save the law and order situation. This system has been prevalent in the past, too," it added.

I think instead of private islamic bodies government should open religious certifications like jhatka,halal ,jain,no onion garlic and various other taboos. Food products if wanted should take certification from them.

They fear that people who do economic boycott of a vishesh samudai will do so looking at the name of the owner . Otherwise people will visit Jai Mata Di dhaba owned by Abdul.

It's like the all pervasive nonGMO label. For every dollar I spend buying something with that deceptive label* that says nothing about food safety or quality, I donate a dollar to agbiotech research foundations.

 

Unless there's some product with allergenic ingredients, there is no need for labels. They just increase costs. 

 

*Left to myself I wouldn't touch anything that is nonGMO labeled but family first.

Eateries in India put fake names to increase their business so many dhaba use Sikh words and show khanda symbol of Sikhs  even if owner is non Sikh because of perception that sardar owned Punjabi dhaba's make good dal makhani shahi paneer parantha etc

 

Similarly so many UP bihari put south indian names for their dosa shops . After all Anna dosa center will get more customers than yadav dosa center

As soon as he opens his mouth and says डोसा , he will be found out :-). And Anna डोसा doesn't fly - they'll think he is from Borivali - still not real.

Large number of orders these days are from  swiggy Zomato and you may not know unless you are regular eater their that whether you are dealing with worker or owner . 20-30 years ago South Indian eateries had everybody south indian. This is not the case now

Don’t be so naive . You have seen the communal clashes between the two communities. Sikhs don’t go about calling Hindus kaffirs , why should Muslims use religious names to deceive patrons. It is unfortunate that a Muslim owning a Ganapati dhaba is seen as a dishonest man to deceive customers. But it is what it is. Plus the countless videos of them spitting , urinating on food served to public. In this age of SM , trust in business is paramount.

Wrong analogy. Halal economy is about religious exclusivity and supremacy. Muslims customers seek out Halal certification before using the products. It is like a Scientologist running a certification agency that all Scientologists only buy products with that certificate. There is no such thing for nonGMO. I understand Halal certification is needed for exporting to Islamic countries. But why are non Muslims forced to eat Halal meat in McDonalds in India? Only Muslim butchers are to kill the animal under the watch of an Islamic mullah chanting the Islamic prayer for Halal certification. Why should Indians eat Halal certified Haldirams?
