There was a time I used to enjoy each six I watch. That's because there were very few sixes.

With too much T20s, there are just too many domestic Indian batsmen hitting powerful sixes. Most batsmen are now like machines. In some years, all of them will be having similar techniques with almost nothing parting them. I am not sure if I like to enjoy some batsmen more than others.

Yes earlier six hitting needed to be a combination of power, timing, shot selection. Now just power is enough to carry mishits over short boundaries

Now I mostly take time out to watch the IPL so the list would have some limitations (and be LOI focused), but anyways in no particular order:

Klassen - brilliant esp. against spin when he gets going. Effortless hitting!

Rashid Khan - I like that he can “manufacture” power where a slight flick of wrist can clear the ropes.

SKY - for his 360 degrees batting. Looks to get going from ball 1 so you know there is always something happening when he is at the crease.

Buttler - A good mixture of power & timing.

5th can be almost anyone playing well on his day. There is some new talent like DC’s Aus player McFraser or something (I tend to forget his name).

Dube is mostly power when the ball is in his slot. No too good against short stuff too. But, yeah, when he gets going, he can be entertaining.

Even Dhoni with his 3-4 balls cameos!
