Seriously if there is no quota secured in even one of the categories in wrestling the federation chief must be asked tough questions and let go. 

We used to send some wrestlers even before 2012 when we used to spend so less, where is the *ing progress with all the money.

It is beyond shameful to not have any wrestlers in any category.

Invest in badminton t.tennis as well.

 

Weightlifting too. Invest in that. Hockey yes although hockey is rigged against us. Refs hate us. 

 

Freestyle Wrestling - 12 events (men+women)

Boxing - 12 events 

Badminton - 5 events 

Shooting - 12 events

Archery - 5 events

Table Tennis - 5 events

Athletics - we can target 5-6 events

Weightlifting - we can target 3-4 events

 

Then Hockey - 2 & Golf - 2.

 

In each of these we can send athletes probable of medalling, having target of 1 gold in every sport by 2032.

 

As much as I am in despair, seeing so many fields where we can medal makes me very hopeful for 2028-2032.

There is a big stadium in Delhi where they have started training them on mats very young.

We should forget about archery. The insane training Korean gives like going in graveyards, staring at dead bodies , cleaning sewers is just impossible in India

How I wish for swimming, diving talents. Remember counting once, about 1/3rd of all medals are water events. We are a big fat zero here.

We should make military training compulsory for 1 year. Every kid must do it I reckon. That will take us far in life. In every aspect. Korea implements this in their system 

 

Just one year mandatory training. They can spread it out. If they are going to be studying then they should be forced to do it post study

 

Make it a national requirement.
