we need to give R Sai kishore and other fast bowler yash dayal , akshdeep to perform in front of home conditions to test temperment.

All the seniors will.play the test as most of them are skipping Duleep Trophy.

BD will come well prepared after Pak series. High on confidence/form if they win/draw second test against poyzzz. 

 

NZ too will come after playing 2 test series in Lanka, one test against Afghans in Noida just before facing us. 

 

Can't experiment too much, 5-0 is needed this home season to guarantee WTC F spot.

Prasidh disappointed big time in RSA, Mukesh looked like McGrath in comparison.

Its only one series. Its always tough to debut overseas even for pacers.If you prefer Mukesh, dunno what to say.

 

Prasidh has all the tools, just need backing to fine tune his game.

I don't prefer either of them. 

 

Prasidh has that meek, loserish body language which I hate.

That can be worked upon. Few successes will give him confidence. Thats why playing at home is required for debutant.

In a way it's ok, someone got a chance atleast in Duleep.

Rohit, Kohli will anyway play in the main team, it's the fringe players which are to be identified.

Prasidh need to make full use of the opportunities, despite being horrendously poor in SA, he has been given the lifeline.

 

Though 2 things which don't go in his favour is his batting ability and fielding, which is just ok. He has to be exceptional with the ball.

I think we may go for bouncy pitches vs Bangladesh, to negate their spinners. Our pace attack too is much much superior.

 

Kohli, Gill both play bounce well. Jaiswal & Rohit are adept as well.

There are doubts though on Pant, it will be cleared in Duleep.

Question remains is Kohli reluctant to play domestic cricket due to fear of getting out cheaply there.

I may be wrong, but i think it's more of not having an interest in domestics.

Rohit, Kohli, Bumrah all 3 are not playing Duleep.

Sachin played domestic match even in his last season. To get ready to play test cricket how else you would prepare yourself.

 

I can understand when they are playing non stop cricket. But they had long gaps and also as you are getting old, you need few domestic matches .

 

It would have been such a boost for domestic cricket to see all three of them play Duleep trophy.

But venues for BD series are Chennai and Kanpur. Can't change nature of pitches at short notice.
