England played only 1 over more than Pakistan team but has scored over 267 runs. But is this the right way to play cricket? Pakistan may have scored less runs but they played test cricket the way it should be played. Pakistan might have lost the match, but cricket in Pakistan won. They are keeping test cricket alive. Odi cricket is there to be played with run rate of over 5 but test cricket should be played with run rate of 3-4. That's why it's the most beautiful form of cricket. It tests your patience and determination for the game. England can score in a faster way but they can Never show patience in  a test match. My team Pakistan.. dil dil Pakistan :adore:

So true. These ex cricketers or for that matter most of such social media influencers are practically dumb individuals even more so those who are from across the borders but to be fair we have good numbers on our side as well. Not saying he is great or anything, but just watching him tells he is ahead of other options in Pakistan.

This "watch" test because he has a smooth action is why he is over rated. Otherwise no one will say he is better than a bowler who took a 6 fer just one match before. It's like our Kulkarni etc are over rated. 

 

Khuram literally has half his average 

 

And everyone has not been given a consistent chance like he has been, the domestic performers are routinely ignored or given 1 or 2 tests and dropped. You cannot compare them with someone regularly in the team 

 

If they had been given same chances as Naseem over last year or two they would have way better stats than him

 

Comparing stats of bowlers who get 1 or 2 matches and then are dropped with someone regularly in the team for years is ridiculous. You have to judge the former after they are given a regular good run

Khurram has only played 3 games, one this one and one in Perth. Its too low sample size.You are doing opposite of what you said in last line. Already pronouncing hi good.

 

Watch test is crucial because it tells us about talent and ability to stand out from other. Rohit, and even Sachin was recognised because of it much before they compiled all the records.

Yes wickets become magically helpful when Naseem doesn't play. 

 

I was not proclaiming Khurram as good, just challenging your assertion that Pakistan has no alternatives 

 

Sachin was scoring overseas 100s for fun as a teen which is why he was hyped. He scored test 100s against the likes of Donald, he had 1 in England, 2 100 in aus and 1 in SA by the time he was 19.

 

Sachin didn't suck for 5 years from debut and be hyped.

He was the primary reason for preparing these highway pitches. They are now gonna prepare some helpful pitches which might spoil his already plummeting average. So this dropping him is just an excuse to save him from further embarassment.
