Apparently team wasn't one short one Fatso was missing. Bakwaskar at it again

Gavaskar criticises timing of Ashwin's retirment, says the spinner left India one short | Crickit

Gavaskar always takes shots at youngsters and fringe players. He doesn't have the balls to go against the real culprits - the so called star batters who're averaging 3 and 6 in 1st innings if a Test over the last 6 Test matches.

He's throwing Siraj under the bus for Siraj's batting skills and Ashwin for retirement when he should be questioning what is Kohli and Rohit's role in the team? Why they haven't retired already and what's their value to the team? We all saw what the team can do under Bumrah at Perth and the moment we get our usual quota of 2 seniors we're back to being shyte.

Gavaskar is trying very hard to become a joke.

If he does not have the balls to criticize Ro-Ko then he should stop criticizing youngsters and non-stars.

Gavaskar was always a joke as a commentator.

In our time (before most of y'all), we saw how he played the peak WI quartet vs playing slightly weaker attacks - he was ruthless on the latter, and quite fragile against the former (or other genuinely top notch attacks). Our greatest opening bat and an ATG, but not some demigod

Gill is such an unreliable bat.

Always said this.

Bump.

He looked so good in 2020-21.

Shots.

Mental edge.

These days looks like a pale shadow of his former self.

2nd year is always tougher when teams work you out. Though I'd say  RoKo being in the team compounds issues.

He should either be sacked or bat at 6

Does not work hard enough and seems bit lazy . He is bit discourage as well how seniors got hierarchy order in Indian Cricket . I also feel that he does not feel comfortable when Kohli is batting along him . Do not why ?
