Many West Journalists like Danny Haiphong, Arnaud Bertrand are saying that US perhaps dont have enough stockpile in their armoury itself to sustain Ukraine war.

Hence, US is pushing NATO countries to be on their own.

I dont believe this theory, US does have a massive economic power which they can leverage to get massive weapons. But, it seems the Putin-Trump meet did had an impact in the decisioning on Trump's psyche and he is more aligned towards ceasefire against Russia.

OK Something has been brewing without we even being aware. China and rest of BRICS have agreed to to trade outside Dollar without even officially saying so. They are making Gold as base with Gold Vaults spread across the BRICS nations and price being 200 days moving average.

It now all makes sense why India got its Gold from London vaults. It also makes sense why US got its Gold shipped from London Vaults in pretext of auditing.

Gold is unofficially a new currency and its recorded as same in Banks Books instead of Half the value(Previously).

Next it will be declared something akin to currency.

Fight is now between virtual/digital currency vs Gold. Lets see who wins it

What is the source of this news. If gold will be used for trade, it will ruffle lot of feathers.

Googl AI: My Comment: Whatever Rumored is actually what is next

The current status of gold as a liquid asset
  • No official July 1, 2025, rule change:
There is no official announcement that gold has been granted full Tier 1 HQLA status under Basel III. Reports suggesting this have been debunked by organizations like the World Gold Council and the LBMA.
    Partial acceptance:
Under regulations like EMIR, allocated physical gold is accepted as collateral, but it is subject to a haircut(My comment: Earlier it was Half , now language used is Haircut), meaning its value is reduced for margin calculations.
  •
  • Growing recognition as an HQLA:
Research and market conditions suggest that gold meets the criteria for a high-quality liquid asset. It has demonstrated stability, liquidity, and a strong safe-haven performance during market stress, sometimes outperforming government bonds.
  • Institutional treatment:
Some banks, like JPMorgan and the Royal Bank of Canada, have begun to treat physical gold as a liquid asset, even before a final ruling, reducing its previous regulatory penalties.
  •
Why there's confusion
  • Basel III rules are complex:
The final Basel III rules are extensive and involve different weightings and ratings for various assets.
  • Misinformation online:
Rumors of a full conversion have been circulating, but they are inaccurate.
  •
  • Delay in Basel III implementation:
The implementation of the "Basel III Endgame" reforms has been delayed, which has contributed to the confusion surrounding the timeline.
  •
How gold is currently used as a liquid asset
  • As a liquidity buffer:
Gold is increasingly used as a liquidity buffer by investors and central banks due to its ability to perform well during financial stress.
  • As collateral:
It can be used as eligible collateral to meet margin requirements for certain derivative transactions.
  • For institutional demand:
The growing recognition of its liquidity benefits is driving institutional demand for physical gold.

Trade happens in your currency. Base is 200 day MA Gold price. No need for Dollar

I think it was shown many times in the past that Trump echoes the lines of the last person he met. Which is the prime reason for his flip flops
