Stan AF Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Yes it is . It is from the 1994 film Naattamai. Gounder (son of Senthil) while looking for a bride finds out that Senthil (his dad) is the actual father of the bride. Gollum 1

Vilander Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Ashwin is a clever guy, he needs a career after his playing days end. He won’t let emotions ruin it. His father is probably just emoting and speculating. It’s amazing that Ashwin had this long a career, it’s very good for a Tamil person playing for India he should be proud of his effort.

Anand was a declining force then and Carlsen was upcoming, heck even before that Kasparov offered help to Gelfand in the 2012 match, 2 years after assisting Anand in Sofia. Anand simply ignored, played it down....he probably understands Kapsarov's psyche better than anyone in the world. But his father who knows nothing about chess (Anand's mom taught him chess and took him to classes and accompanied him in tournaments, father had no role in the chess part) engaged with press at his home and slammed Kasparov. That time Anand was playing a tournament in Europe or Russia, was pure cringe. Indian parents are generally like that only. Gukesh's father so far seems balanced, based on what limited amount I have read Gollum 1
