Glad that he is found out. Has always been rubbish when it comes to shot selection. Played as many rubbish shots in last tour to Australia as well. Just not made for test cricket. Maybe worse Captian to lead India than Dhongi.

Dongi did merit selection in all tests. he was a better keeper than DK and Parthiv, and better than them as a batter inside the SC (though maybe not outside it). In contrast, it can be debated as to whether rohit has always merited selection overseas (outside Asia especially), outside his short peak
