Dhoni did better by retiring in mid series so Virat can take over..

What do you mean better? MS should've retired ideally by end of 2013, at least given up captaincy!

Badada vada shamelessly lost 3-0 at home against lowly kiwis

That should have been curtains for him,Sachin,Ganguly,Azhar faced far lesser bad results still couldn't keep captaincy

This badada who is not even fit to tie their bootlaces is clinging on,and is hellbent on taking out Bumrah before he goes

I am still die hard hard Kohli fan but it's only after my love for Indian cricket

Thats the way to go about.

Cricket is the ultimate, players will come and go...but no player is bigger that game itself.

looks like  Rohit will retire after this series

Every expert is bashing him but not Kohli. They know Rohit is going anyway

He got a long rope thanks to T20 WC win goodwill but his and the team's horrendous run have reached unbearable levels! Everything has an expiry limit and in this case, it has been reached looong ago!

How is T20 WC relevant to Tests though?

He could have continued in T20s if he wanted.

It is neither relevant nor rational. But we know how selectors mix up formats and give unnecessary grace period to star players.

Yes, this is the best way out of this mess. The much hoped for last Hurrah hasn't come and it's time to move on.

he's not gonna do that. will try to hang on as much as he can
