Wth is that a direct quote? If so, such a shameless player. He made Rahul move from the opening position that had served Rahul well and stank everything up. Loser.

Absolutely no shame or self awareness whatsoever. And this fatso will go from here as "captain" in the CT where he and that choker Kohli will deliver another masterclass.

Only chance of winning CT if we somehow make it to finals and SA are there in finals too, because they are massive grade A chokers

At max we can carry them to knockouts but after that it's extremely tough to win when you've 9 players going up against 11.

It's not impossible.

We got to WC 2023 final as we had Shami averaging 3+ wkts a game, Bumrah and pretty decent Kuldeep. Plus at the time Rohit still had something left in the tank. The current version of Rohit can't be compared to the one in that tourney. Rohit's PP hitting and our stellar bowling allowed our batters to play without much pressure. But this CT will be different. There's no Shami and Rohit has fallen off the cliff. And we all know Kohli is the greatest downhill skier in the world who shows up when there's no pressure but when there's a hint of pressure he crumbles. The only way we do something in CT is if we drop at least one of Rohit or Kohli and replace them by Jaiswal. Jaiswal is our best all-format batter and deserves to play ODIs. Ideally, we don't have either Rohit or Kohli in the team and we go with a young team similar to our T20 one. Then we'll be one of the favorites.

That's what we've done in the past and TBH we can pick an India A team and they would reach knockouts too. The real tourney starts at the knockout stage and as always our chokers will go missing at that stage. Vijy 1

maniac Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 (edited) Personal opinion- it’s all over controversial opinion- I feel Sydney is Rohit Sharma territory. The bylanes around SCG buzz with stories of Rohit’s knocks on this ground in white ball. Would be perfect for final hurrah but I know too much to ask. Just putting it out there :) Edited December 30, 2024 by maniac

Laaloo Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Can't believe this guy hasn't retired yet. Dude your team won a game and then you came back ruined all the vibes and the batting order and got embarrassed in 3 games. Do you not have any common sense?
vvvslaxman Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 (edited) Imagine someone getting paid 15 lakhs for the work that Rohit did in the mCG test. 5 days of work of doing nothing. 18000$ for 5 days. If he has any shame he should distribut his earnings to Indian fans who attended the match Edited December 30, 2024 by vvvslaxman
