Gavaskar singing platitudes about India being one of the best fielding units, how the fielding coaches giving medals at the end of the match and we immediately saw two easy dropped catches.

from yt highlights:

pak vs nz match showed pak (host name) under champions trophy logo in broadcast

in ind vs nz  pak was missing, the host name was not there in 2019 wc as well 2024 wc did not feature it but had host name for 2023 wc

Ind match had digital boards on the walls, pak match had plastic/trap flex sheets. this is be provided by stadium itself

 

Ind and pak commentators do not add much to the content they are just there to say good things about rohit/gill/klohi and babar/rizwan/shaheen respectively.

this time think hyden, dull not sure who was it but they said exactly what they saw with pak batting

Contrast the heart pumping hockey Hindi commentary to this crap. Not that our people can't commentate well, just that Indian cricket has its priorities wrong.

Indians even if they're articulate can't bring the feel with English commentary that native speakers do especially for television. We produced better ones when it was radio. Even if it's sometimes crap with technical analysis, you can feel the difference when you hear Hindi commentary.

Gavaskar, Shastri, Bhogle, Manjerkar has hijacked Indian cricket commentary scene..milking Indian cricket for easy money. They are like seniors in Indian cricket team...leeches of highest order...will extract every juice out of it till they die...

The newer lot like Murali Kartik, Deep das Gupta, Kartik etc. are bootlickers run of the type with no charm of their own...

 

Only banking on Ashwin to be in the broadcast someday in the future.

Hindi Commentary in Cricket is purely time pass for Commies. Raina, Kaifu, Siddhu Paaji do full on bakchodi rather than doing commentary. I doubt they can even describe/commentate on one particular ball or shot...

Hindi commentary was destroyed by tullu da pathha piddhu way back from 2002 itself

That qwett of a person thinks he's funny ,when he isn't funny for even the most funniest moments

Dilip doshi and others used to commentate with such class and honour,these g@@dus must shove their heads inside their own butts and commentate

Even for a brief period Arun Lal when sometimes he used to commentate in hindi, sounded good

Azad also did well for whatever little opportunity he had

If India allows some agency to recruit some english commentators will surely get 'head and shoulders above' candidates  from these chewtombies

BCCI must employ AI as the last resort if they don't improve

There must be some scrutiny team,guys like Hatsha,Gavaskar,Murli Karthik,DeepDasgupta are limiting the game and are slow poison eventually kill cricket among the gen z,z1,z2....,z infinity
