Ultimate_Game Posted March 12 Posted March 12 ...is all the whining and moaning from folks, especially the padosis. Win was great but after a day or two it was wearing off and was coming down from that high. But then I took a look at the padosi site just to check how they're taking it, and man was I amazed! There was meltdown and literally every other thread was about how "meaningless" the win was and how India got the "advantage" along with the "injustice" done by BCCICC by not inviting PCB for award ceremony. Man it was so much fun to see all the coping! It was amazing and all the tears tasted so sweet! It was as if India didn't play at all and ICC simply handed them the trophy. And that too when they were first flogged in the tri series by NZ and then knocked out of the tourney within 3 days by India! Didn't see any so called "home advantage" for them The more they cry, moan and whine, the better the win feels. Hope they continue for a while so we can soak the win some more Thank you Team India for giving us such a wonderful experience Tillu, singhvivek141, New guy and 4 others 7

Literally every padosi is crying about it When they get in situations like this - they commit greater harakiri. Fresh musical chairs will begin there soon. Same old trash will be recycled. It amazing how these guys never learn. If you want to know what big a circus their environment is - just look at their treatment of Gary Kirsten and Morne Morkel. Kirsten was the 2011 WC winning coach’s and Morne is doing a decent job with the team. They both had terrible stints with greenbros. Edited March 12 by rangeelaraja New guy 1

Anything which goes against India is all well and good but if India gets even an iota of perceived advantage, all hell breaks loose! Recall during 2023 WC there were allegations about chips in the ball and toss coin being loaded coz somehow Rohit won a few tosses The only thing they're good at is blaming others, finding excuses and playing victims. That's why their country, and cricket is going down the drain. It's enjoyable to watch it all go down sugumarrising and Need4Speed 2

deathmonger Posted March 12 Posted March 12 You know what the funny thing is? CT was a very "low value" trophy in India. No one really cared in 2002 and 2013 was nice as it was coming after a couple of tough years but Indians were still focused on CWC and SENA test wins. Pak overhyped CT so much after 2017 and used it to beat India with - "no ICC trophies in last X years where X started from 2014". Mind you, "ICC trophies", not "World Cups" cause they haven't won any since 92. In that time period India had a magnificent test team - prolly the 3rd or 4th best ever and certainly the best from Asia ever. But Pakistanis downplayed this. So now that India have won in 9 months the two trophies Pak have won in the last 32 years, they are hurting real bad. And unlike the Aussies they can't even call these trophies "unimportant" cause that would mean they have won nothing in the last 32 years. And both wins had Pakistan crashing out in the most embarrassing fashion. 2024 first USA beat them, that too in a very painful manner in the super over by Indian origin Netvalkar where Babar dropped a masterclass. Then India applied the finishing touches by defending 120 (lol) where Rizwan dropped his. 2025 first NZ beat them at home with Babar dropping a masterclass again. And then India applied the finishing touches again with Rizwan dropping his masterclass. Ultimate_Game and crictime 1 1

I don't recall celebrating 2013 CT that much and to me it was similar to some of the other multi-lateral tourneys where we had 4-5 teams in a tourney. But after2017, and especially now with all the drama, I'm enjoying it so much. Thanks padosis for making CT relevant and giving us so much pleasure! nevada 1

Yeah I was more focused on winning in SA later in the year and getting back to no 1 in tests. It was a nice thing after the post 2011 period but I was looking at it more like a launchpad. Also Pak denigrated the test record by calling it "bilaterals" (100 years older than the first "ICC trophy") cause their own test team has been really bad since the mid 90s. These mofos also hyped up AC in 2022. Lol. Ultimate_Game 1
