IMO ICC should've backed Ireland more. Even a team like Afg has gone past B'desh without any major investment and support structure in place. It's sad to see that B'desh actually looked way more promising in 2007 than they do now. Despite playing top level cricket for 30 years now they're still minnows and haven't won anything.

I thought the series win against Pak may change things for them, but alas it was another false dawn. Disappointing to say the least and we should look at backing other teams like Nepal. IMO if we give the same level of support to Nepal, they would be ahead of B'desh in 10 years time.

Not enough progress. Now with them going the religious fundamentalist route, I highly doubt they turn the corner.

Yup. They are sidelining their biggest matchwinner, Litton Kumar Das, just because some of their ladies have a crush on him, enough to rile up the goatbeards.

I think BCCI needs to float an idea to demote BCB and give likes of Nepal Netherlands Scotland etc  berth to see what they can do.

Gone are the days when BCCI needed voting power in ICC. Even the strategic use of BD is now questionable. Even desis in the USA if given full status will end u[ giving better returns.

Md Yunus should liaise with his US handlers and plan a BD tour to the USA comprising of 3 T20s and 2 Tests. It may serve as a useful distraction for a bit.

Check the size of the crowds in Dhaka rallying against equal rights to women. Like Iran 1979 movement but at least Iranian women are encouraged to pursue education, employment (70% of their STEM graduates are women). These BD Islamists want blanket ban on education, employment for their women.

IMO after the latest noise coming out of B'desh after the Pehlgaum incident, we should cancel our cricketing tour to B'desh and preferably cancel cricketing ties. Let East and West Pak play each other. We should only kick their @sses in ICC tourneys and should've nothing to do with them otherwise.

India's BD tour and Asia Cup more or less cancelled as per recent reports.

Also hockey Asia Cup will go ahead without Pak participation. If they want let them qualify to WC through the qualifiers next Feb. HI is chad in that way, in last women's ACT they invited China and displayed a gigantic 'correct' map of India (including Aksai Chin) at the stadium entrance. BCCI would never have the guts.

I have noticed something.

Due to rising Indian economy, India is becoming more important in hockey. Like more and more events are being hosted in India.

Should look to get BCCI like power in 10-15 years.
