At what point in this series will people start crying out for Rohit?

Jaiswal is becoming a defensive test batsman each test he plays and Gill had a couple of good test matches in 6 years, back to mediocrity.

 

Apart from Pant, there is no X factor.

 

If the onus is on KL to be the saviour who averages 35 after 60 odd tests you are in deep trouble.

 

Test Team has a lot of work to do.

I still feel Jaiswal is the rightful heir to Rohit bro. He has that extra  6-7th gear that most proper batsman lack.

I hope you are right but time will tell, honeymoon period will be over soon, a lot more footage on him now for teams to work on let’s see how he does.

He is doing the toughest role for India. OPeners always have the tougher assignment overseas. On his first tour he finished as the highest run getter for India in Australia. RIght now he is having a decent series. But for brain fades he could have done even better. What more footage you want about him. He has been playing in IPL for a while. There is no real obvious weakness. Infact less weaker than Harry brook.

 After seeing useless Sai and Nair screw Indian team in this series. Rohit would not have been bad option.

Every time we dropped catches- we missed one of the finest test catchers of this generation

 

every time you saw darters you missed his guile and off spin talent (even though he doesn’t bowl, just the talent)

 

Every time you saw bazball you missed someone who is known as the granddaddy of these bazball type approach.

 

every time England counterattacked and the shoulders were low you missed the man known as Chanakya of this era in cricket.
