If a proper batsman plays at 6 and Jadeja at 7, you probably don't need the cushion of Washington at 8.

 

Sai or Jurel will play at 6 and Kuldeep at 8.

I don't see Kuldeep playing tomorrow. They will stick with Washington whom the TM has consistently backed plus he bowled well at Lord's.  

Kuldeep deserves a steady spot in this team but in a wet and overcast Manchester, I don't see him getting in.

Not likely given Washington's performance with the ball in the previous test.

Pant is confirmed as the keeper and I don't think Jurel gets in over Sai as the batter.

Sai didn't look too bad in his previous outing in the series.

Gussy boy Atkinson with his average of 22.xx per wicket is something though - has all of his 12 tests vs NZ, Pak, SL, WI and Zim.

 

Has never played Aus, India or SA.

 

Opposition selection is important.  One tour of Aus will fix his 22.xx average.........

Played in T20 though against India.  Sanju samson picked 22 runs of his bowling in one over

Yes, this looks more likely. We can hope Jurel can score more than Reddy for sure.  I am pretty sure Kuldeep will miss out manchester .

I still think Sai will play ahead of Jurel. They might ask him to play at 5 or 6 after the ball has softened
