Then why this drama of shifting our event to UAE? Should have hosted it in India, and invited another team in place of Pak.

I had asked this when I visited in 2019. Flag had to be lowered before sunset. 

 

The drama of people around was stopped by GOI but the flag lowering was still going on.

 

Post Sindoor ( or in ongoing op Sindoor as GOI says)  the drama started immediately after CF

Should never have shifted the tournament in the first place. Sign of surrender before them, as if they imposed their will on us. CT 25 most of the tournament was played in Pak, but here we are having to play our own matches in another country. They will only get emboldened and demand more in future tournaments where we are hosts. 

 

Had tourney stayed in India, either we would have called their bluff or they would have withdrawn as revenge for our CT stance (more likely), win-win for us.

Asia cup is happening. BCCI isn't going with tournament boycott.

 

At best they will follow WCL model. Boycott pakistan matches. 

 

But knowing BCCI greed and incompetence, expect Ind vs Pak  maha muqabala on 14th sep.
