From one statistical perspective, Prasidh Krishna was the best bowler in the series

So true, You cannot become better bowlers if you keep leaking boundaries every ovar. PK is a run leaking machine.

That;'s an extreme example. Does an opposition scoring 200/2 in 80 overs help? they will always accelerate from that base

I have been one of Prasidh Krishna's biggest critics on this forum, but he elicited the highest rate of false shots of any bowler in the entire series - 28.7% of his deliveries induced a false shot. Next was Siraj at 26.8% and Bumrah at 24.4 %. England's best was Gus Atkinson at 22.2%.  So, from this statistical perspective, one could argue that he was the best bowler in the series.

 

Only 1 out of every 13 false shots fetched him a wicket (the lowest ratio of any bowler), so one could argue that he was the unluckiest bowler.

 

Or should we argue that they must change the definition of what constitutes a false shot?  Which brings up the question - how *do* they define a false shot?

 

 

 

 

That  false shot must be hitting a single or double instead of a four or a six .

All that matters is he won last test ….. He supported very well to Siraj on 5th day morning
