US govt is the biggest hypocrite. They are against India doing business with Russia but themselves continue to propagate Pakistan. Continue to give them bailouts through WB and IMF.

I remember almost a 100% of Indians supported trump vs biden in a random street interview in india, it should be on YouTube. Indians in india preferred trump a lot more than US Indians compared to biden.

 

Among other factors, It was mainly because of atrocities on BD Hindus during puppet Yunus's installation.

Anyone who fell for Trump, in the entire world, is a despicable human being. No amount of excuses or reasoning will change that and history won't remember them kindly.

USA is not Trump or Trump is not USA. Still trust in checks and balances over here to stop Trump/USA to get into a nuculur kinetic action. But, my hatred towards all things Pakistan is an all -time high. I don't want to follow their kirkut, our kirkut with them. If they supoort a suvvar like Asif Munir, let them go to hell.

Never met anybody favoring tariffs from Dems or Republican voters among friends/colleagues. As usual MAGA and such media is hailing as a game changer for US economy . But across all media left and center think it will cause more rising prices and inflation. Trade deals and tariffs  will address deficits in the short term, but dollar  loses value and long term US is looking to lose its power. Very few republican politicians are opposing it (like Nikki Haley), but growing influence of China because of tariffs will move across the aisle. It will all be pro -Trump until they lose senate and congress next year in 2026

US media is US centeric, India doesn't feature a lot actually. except for Forigen Policy shows & print media you won't find much coverage on India. you will find lot of coverage on Canada issue because its their neighbor & China is covered lot more than India as it their peer power, impacts their supply chains a lot more. 

 

Coverage in traditional, popular media like NYT, WP, CNN isn't very good for the admin. Views on china have improved a bit in recent times.

No I meant about Trump's approach to all countries with tarrifs and wars. Whats the general sentiment there? If there is discontent he can lose midterm

if the economy continues to falter as the recent numbers suggest, then yes. Numbers seems to suggest economy is held up by investments in AI.

 

Rs agre moving to gerrymander to ensure this doesn't matter, Ds might make a similar move to counter it. So democracy may not matter much in the oldest democracy much longer if both parties go this way.
