If there is discontent he can lose midterm his poll numbers have been tanking on the economy & immigration. Both of these used to be his strong points, but efforts are underway to make what ppl think as irrelevant, whetehr it will work or not depends on how bad economy is being messed up, whether wallets are taking a hit enough to make the gerrymandering irrelevant. Its too early to say, as the elections are a year away. But if elections happened today I would bet Rs lose control of at least the house. Lone Wolf and Lord 1 1

Indians in india preferred trump a lot more than US Indians compared to biden. Among other factors, It was mainly because of atrocities on BD Hindus during puppet Yunus's installation. Now pls bugger off from this thread. I am interested in views of US Indians and in views of other sensible posters and don't appreciate you derailing the thread. Thxbye. This justification literally made no sense to me. if everything was great in BD, BD hindus will support BD over India. Indians should probably worry about India not ppl who wouldn't worry about India if their position was better. BD is in India's neighborhood, India would be able to control BD much better as long as India remained the power to reckon with in that region. Dems china containtment policy was much more favorable to this end than MAGA who basically hate Indians. Edited August 11, 2025 by IndianRenegade Nagz 1

I did see another video which didn’t have the synch issue. the Indian side shouldn’t automatically assume this is a directional change. If things go well during the upcoming trade delegation visit, Trump is capable of acting like the last few months never happened. but at the moment things look like it’s going downhill. ravishingravi Posted August 12, 2025 Posted August 12, 2025 Tbh US bases Indians already have their hands full with what's coming. Hatred of Indians will only increase in coming years. Because they are successful. Last thing they might want to do is take up domestic India issues now. Lone Wolf and coffee_rules 1 1

US will do anything in its power to slow down our economic progress. A 10-12 trillion dollar India so soon is a terrifying prospect for them. The 80's style coercion with Japan won't work with India so they are going to use their lap dogs in Porkland and newer vassal state in Kangluland to slow down our economic growth and push us towards a long drawn conflict. US based Indians aren't going to find things rosy looking ahead. Trump is solely acting on the behalf of Deep State & it won't matter who comes after him. Although Trump will get the credit to set things in motion. ravishingravi 1

Next apple ceo is likely to be an indian... Edited August 12, 2025 by randomGuy

Most CEOs have bent the knee, even the mighty Elon Musk has been pushed out. It isn’t just about money. I think things did start out well, India isn’t getting offered F35 by both trump & vance if it didn’t. Looks like India rebuffed the offer (they haven’t mentioned f35 after Vance’s visit), then rebuffed Trumps mediation in op sindhoor, & didn’t give in on trade deal. It’s one too many rebuffs for a person like trump. Trump wanted some early wins that he can parade to his base & cement his legacy, Indians aren’t giving him any. India needs to pick its battle wisely, in retrospect credit for cf wasn’t a hill worth dying on. It could have been spun better. Hopefully they press the reset soon. He wants gifts, family deals. in usa, it may be seen as lobbying in India it is corruption. He clubbed India Pakistan together, he wanted to internationalize Kashmir which India says is bilateral. That is against national interest n Opposition also would expose such stuff.... Running a country is more complex than you think.

Look at how many have even bothered to call out the duplicity of the Americans (even if they can't budge Trump) in terms of tariffs. They only remember their Indian roots when there is profit to be made or publicity to be milked. Our stupidity for not destroying Pak during Sindoor. All the fury of those against the ceasefire was correct. Modi govt will rue the day they went soft on Pak thinking they were being the responsible one. Noone cares as long as you win. Running a country is more complex than you think. Redline on Ind-pak meditation is understandable. There are ways to spin it without accepting meditation give trump credit for making Pakistan realize its military position, picking up the phone to ask for CF. But politely refuse larger meditation. If this was a bridge too far, India should have just remained mum after the initial denial, Modi took Rahul’s bait & released an MEA statement on the phone call with trump basically humiliating him. I can’t imagine BJP losing votes because op sindhoor Modi didn’t forcefully refute Trumps statement. For god sakes, you are playing Pakistan in Asia cup like nothing happened. IMO that’s a bigger scandal. Claiming corruption to avoid lobbying is laughable, if anything, India is much more corrupt than US. If India choses to be out lobbied by bankrupt Pakistan I don’t know what to say about Indian influence ops. Even the Israeli’s know they need to spend some dough inspite of traditionally favourable sentiment towards them. the problem is India is trying to act like it is China without the economic or manufacturing might of China. Lay low & bide your time, a lesson Modi 3.0 seems to be forgetting. Number 1

I literally call out what a disaster trump has been for India in most of my posts & how Indian Americans made a bad bet on him. but you play the hand you are dealt with & not the hand you like to play. You already have a superpower China & its minion pak breathing down you. Russia is a shell of its past self, right at the cusp of turning your economy into a manufacturing based you don’t pick a beef with the only other superpower & largest consumer. Chinese literally ate a bomb at their embassy & bid their time. We would be better off if we learn a few things from the Chinese.

G_B_ Posted August 12, 2025 Posted August 12, 2025 What india needs atm is bit of a shallow recession (not a deep one) in the usa such that trump is drawn inwards and takes a beating in the mid terms. If usa is in recession the impact of tarriffs is moot given most people are simply not making big purchases.
ravishingravi Posted August 12, 2025 Posted August 12, 2025 There are much bigger issues for them to deal with. They are the new Jews.
SinNombre Posted August 13, 2025 Posted August 13, 2025 As someone who lives in the US and has lived in Western Europe as well for long periods of time, Munir comments are irrelevant and Trump is transactional. What's important for Indians though is to start presenting a united voice and use our influence and financial means to influence changes which is not only to help ourselves but also the motherland as well as the Jews have done since Israel was created. Why this didn't happen yet is not surprising. Indians who came to the US in the 80s and 90s were ashamed of their identity and came from a country which was not just poor but also had lost its cultural being. Their kids are obviously not going to associate themselves with India even though for most of them, that's how the world will view them. The onus is on our generation (millennials) and our kids to change that, and create the world where our people cannot be ignored.

DT will go ballistic then. Apparently he is using some emergency measure to apply them.
