How much of a shame that would be for India ? Opposition would rip BJP apart if that happened. This is yet another major low in international diplomacy.

He was in reverence of China as a growing power but never spoke in favor of CCP. He was never anti-Indian - he has a very good relationship with Jaishankar. He was pro-China because of China's geographical proximity to Australia and the fact that China's appetite for natural resources could make resource rich Australia filthy rich, which it did.

Japan PM was forced to resign because of a most humiliating one-sided trade deal. Cannot believe the times we live in.

I would rather be $3000 per capita gdp country holding my own than $70000 per capita gdp grovelling in front of Americans.
