No Viru’s was better, it had Swann and Monty who destroyed India in next series.

 

Remove Viru’s knock India was not chasing that total.

 

This England bowling attack is overrated, Stokes if he cannot take wickets, they are toast. It was Stokes bowling which was the difference against India too.

There is none in anywhere in world as clutch as head. Doing it at so many occasion in tournament finals, in iconic series that too playing at different positions. Pant and Jaiswal has to take 5 lives to achieve something like this. Pant has turned in to hack whereas jaiswal gives kela vibes in chase.

Don't tell me Yuvraj was such a great batsman against spin in tests that he would score 85* in a 380 chase, on a square turner !!!!! Check highlights again, it didn't play like a day 5 Indian wicket. 

 

That match was emotionally tough for our guys, that was the real challenge, because of 26/11.

dont know about that! 2008 was a different batting era before IPL, the target was a record breaking total of some sort

That was a pretty flat wicket. Nobody is chasing 380+ on a square Turner in the 4rth innings.

Getting the runs is not equal to patta. That's like reading the pitch and condition on cricinfo scorecard.Ian Botham had written off india once England leader crossed 250. 

 

This perth pitch isn't even the worst pitch i have seen at Perth.

But I think you are being harsh on Pant, he averages 40+ in 4th innings IIRC, with more than 1 memorable knock.
