This match is the cricketing equivalent of shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted. These are meaningless stats in a dead rubber after the series was lost in 11 days.

Head, Starc and Hazlewood were playing against us in the limited overs series as well. That's how serious they were while playing India.

In a way it's good coz when ICC tournies roll around we don't see a difference in quality of opponent coz we get to play the same players throughout. IMO that's the reason teams like Pak, SL etc. struggle coz they only play 2nd XIs in bi-laterals and then are up against higher quality players. But for us it's same as what we always play against.
