Perth is tougher to bat in 3rd and 4th innings because of cracks, much easier in 1st innings. 

 

I missed that game but from scorecard, match was evenly poised when we came out to bat, can't downplay Jaiswal's knock, legendary by any metric. 

 

Kohli is a great player no matter how his career ended. The way he played in RSA in 23-24 test series, very few in the history of cricket can do something like that. Against pace/bounce, Kohli is one of the GOATs.

Yes, but my point is, we always had Pujara like batsmen (maybe not anymore but before that). We never had Pant like hitters.

Naa,we literally mauled them into submission by batting them.out of game

It had nothing,when we had our 2nd innings,Perth you are talking about was older one 

Kohli always had terrible game outside off,his problem was never pace and bounce

We have had Kapil,Sehwag,Dhoni before. Others like Yuvraj Raina failed. 

 

As for winning overseas that started due to our improvement in fast bowling being able to play 3/4 quicks. Same batting with bowlers like we had in the 90s will still lose badly.
