Samson is a RR player since his IPL debut isn't he.

 

Jadeja did play for Rajasytan royals, Kochi Tuskers, Gujarat Kions and CSK. He goes back to one of his 4 teams which is the  first one he played for. Warne said great things about him then

Samson started with KKR, and also played for DC for couple of years

really?? Samson is the biggest FTB,i dont see him playing well on Chennai pitches.

Chennai pitch isn't spinning as much as the management want. It is more flat than before.

Samson will give them a 5-6 year runway with a Wk option before the next gen emerges.

Also, Samson coming in means Dhoni exits this year, possibly even mid-season. He has said that his last match will be at Chepauk. He might choose to play only home games.

I think MSD is close to calling it quits. Although Ashwin says  star value plays no role, i say Star value plays a massive role.  TN and Kerala have special connection.  Mallus will be in full flight supporting CSK.  Plus they need a keeper who can bat up the order not bats at no.9.

The retained players list of all teams was supposed to be issued on Nov 15. Let’s hope it is out soon. 
 

The auction will be held in Abu Dhabi on Dec 16 if I recall correctly.
