Hit the length. But he needs to add more gas to his bowling

Yes trundles after the third ball. He needs stamina. Lengths yes are good and can get awkward bounce.

Gets bounce but not that much pace, Tnpl speedometers shows him hitting late 120s kmphs and early 130s on effort balls.

The speedometer looks ok in tnpl showing warrier bowling high 130s and reaching upto 142-144 on effort balls which is what he bowls at

So the best bowler of the day is getting shifted!

BCCI clearly is looking for tall seamers who can get bounce. If he can get to 135-136 kmph regularly, with that height and control, he could be such a wonderful addition to our bowling attack.

He bowled quite well in Duleep Trophy, has been among wickets in Ranji recently, picked wickets today as well. Tougher tests await for him, with some strength training and conditioning, he could move to the next level in 12-15  months.

too slow for International cricket.

Its general problem in Ind cricketing system, those who are tall are nt fast enough.

Vats is tall but not fast Atal vihari , Trilok all are tall but the pace is not there where they can trouble intnl quality batters with

V.strong t20 batting line up for this kind of tournaments. Teams would have to pick wkts otherwise they wont be able to contain the big shots.

Only Neehal is one who can get stuck in the crease and not score at high rate rest wont do that.

Pitches look flat Pak scored 220 and Omn scored 180 in reply, Ind scored 297 and Uae scored 147.

From highlights looks like ball is coming at easy pace and bounce

Gurnoor is tall and fast....Yudhvir is tall and semi fast. Sen is also tall and fast. Saini was tall and fast. Aniket Chaudhary (Raj) was 135-141 in his younger days.

Problem is always the identification, once a fast bowler gets injured, he is just left on his own with no support from others. Saini was in form in 2016-17, only got an opportunity in 2019 when he was already 27-28...then covid and injuries happened.

Yes inability to pick/select the faster bowler in their prime has been the issue. Do not think its identification its more to do with not picking till they injured.

Can not understand how Aniket didnt play IPL he was v.tall LAF bowling heavy ball, could have troubled at-leat Ind domestic batters with that line and bounce and his pace was good too 135+ kmph.

Saini's prime was wasted, though he had issue that his fuller ball we not pacy enough or were floaty in many sense. but could have been tried in his prime.

Even with munaf they waited till he got injured.

Yes its v.clear with this TM they are going towards tall quick fast bowler which is good to see. That's why one can argue on many things but their pick of fster bowlers is good atleat. Think Rana is being trolled for noting its not like he is the worse bowler/player ever played for Ind.

He is quick/tall already won a t20 vs Eng, bowled well in a test Aus and got some wkts in this t20i series in Aus. Those who are trolling can nt even tell who are next 5 pacer Ind can pick if not Rana. Ind fast bowling resources are down to 2 bowlers Siraj and Bhumrah and Bhumrah can break down any time can not push him every game every series.

Aniket did play IPL for RCB. Although he was slightly expensive and IPL is historically in favour of gimmicky bowlers who can bowl with "variations".

Rana's inclusion is a sign that the current TM is banking on his to be a long serving all format pacer. Arshdeep is good for T20s but his efficiency in ODIs and Tests is debatable. Akashdeep and Prasidh are close to 30s and yet to make a mark, so they have limited time on their hands. Siraj anyway don't fit in T20s and rarely plays ODIs, Bumrah is being used in each format as the master of all trades, but he too has his limits in terms of physical ability and now he's stretching to the same.

Yes there are few who were either not picked at all or did not get much games.

Heard Gaurav (Mp now pondi) was v.nippy in his prime he was not picked, Warrier can cosistenly hit 140+ kmph didnt get much games in prime.

Pradeep Dhande or something like that plays for Maha/vid was not picked in his prime he was tall as fast
